Cold, wet afternoon drive from Purdue to Perry, i.e. Perrysburg, Ohio. Just drove by the statute of Oliver Hazzard Perry, the hero of the Battle of Lake Erie. Perry stands above the Maumee River just as you drive into Perrysburg, ready to command his fleet if required.
As you drive through America, all these little bits of American history pop up that we just don’t ever think about
I am hanging out with my friend Matt Buchanan. Matt is an IP..lawyer, and part of the great troika of IP.lawyers that includes Steve Nipper and Doug Sorocco. I met the three merry ipers at the ABA Tech Show in Chicago. I had a great time with Steve in Boise, and need to find a way to OKC..to meet up with Doug. I am not sure, but I would guess that a blogger dinner here could be Matt and me in a booth at Wendy’s.
Buzzer!
Had agreat dinner with Joe Begalla - he reminds me of Franni's brother!
Where are you?
Keep in touch.
