2008 has been by any standard a terrible year for me. I woke the other day, the lake outside my window was covered in fog. It seem to be a metaphor for life, e.g. just when you think things are clear, the fog rolls in.
And getting past the fog is much harder than it should be.

Looking for the positive in this, take a few moments to remember those worse off. There are people out there waking up to find the lake outside their window is now in their room.
Even on the top of the highest mountain there will be fog. Here's hoping the warm regards of your friends helps melt that fog - hang in there mate.
