I spent Friday/Saturday at Northern Voice. Northern Voice is Vancouver’s annual blogging conference. An excellent time was had by all. As a Canadian Wanna-Be, i.e. someone who daily looked in to Canada from his bedroom window as a child, and concluded that half the known world must be Canadian, I had a great time.
NV..is not like other blogging conferences, which is refreshing! There were all kinds of great young people, lots of young academics, and plenty of excellent ideas.
But maybe the best part was just being in a vibrant city, with a different perspective, a different feel, and great sushi.
NV is highly recommended, I will be back!
