There are lots of days when I mull over the ActiveWords Odyssey, and what I may/may not have accomplished. On those days when I think we are going to hit it totally out of the park, I mull over what I might do with my new found cash.
I think about the people I have met, and about the ones that are doing very good things. I think I would invest in Pop!Tech, it is the best event that find my way to every year.
Then I think I about people that I have met and how they are investing their time and energy. High on that list is Cameron Sinclair. I met Cameron at Pop!Tech, and Sunday there was this great article about Cameron in the N.Y. Times. Well worth the read..and well worth the investment.
I have this notion that investing in Cameron would have a real impact, a great and long bet.
Great idea, Buzz. I won't forget Cameron's 2005 talk at PopTech. While we are all waiting for our ships to come in, Architecture for Humanity is accepting even the smallest donations (tax deductible) at http://architectureforhumanity.org/sponsor/sponsor.html
