After my last posting, a very dear friend of mine asked me a simple question related to my statement
“There have been only three generations of my family since the Civil War.”
“What about your daughters, don’t they count?”
My friend was absolutely correct, they do count, they are very important to me.
Both are lovely young woman, of whom I am very proud.
Perhaps my preoccupation about writing about myself, caused me to not think about them.
I apologize to them, and to you, for not thinking beyond a very narrow focus.
