Bloggers as Intelligent Agents...
I drove in to Seattle last night and had the very good fortune to have dinner with Robert and Maryam Scoble, Chris & Ponzi Pirillo, Liz Lawler and Jake Ludington. After dinner we were talking about blogging ( surprise!) and I told the story about the time that Jim McGee and I were having lunch in Chicago. Over lunch I mentioned something, that sparked an idea for Jim.
We went back to his offices, and he proceeded to take three separate white board walls of a conference room to outline some things that he had been thinking about. His thinking, logic and presentation were gifted. I sat there, watched listened and was dazzled by Jim’s mind and how it worked.
This morning, I was reading his blog, and came across the following post:
“Paul Saffo on Rules of Forecasting”
I have not met Saffo, but consider Jim to be a wonderful friend. His essay is brilliant! Jim’s concept is that bloggers are your intelligent agents, this piece is another example of a terrific guy with a brilliant mind writing nuggets that I plan to ponder and use in the future.
Reading this is like getting a great Christmas present for my mind!
Buzz,
I wondered why my ears were burning over Christmas. You are too kind. And I am always energized by our conversations and your questions. Hope all is well
