Everything has worked perfectly with this technology. A couple of the Skype out calls to cell numbers were a bit rough. Just trying Stuart Henshall of the Skype Journal. Stuart gets this stuff, I am sure that the thrill of this stuff will wear off, but for the moment it is very, very cool. I have been talking to people around the country and the world.
Just tried Stuart on his Vonage line, a little latency, but worked fine. I would be curious as to how a Skype in call would work, but my guess is fine, everything else is working perfectly.
My guess is that business people will immediately begin to adopt this kind of technology. Airplanes with this service will sell out quicker, arguable get premium fares. The next question will be whether private jets will be able to adopt it, and pay for it.
