It's all in the ear....
Anyone who reads this blog, or hears me talk will sooner or later hear me rave about my Etymotic ER-6i earbuds.
They have changed forever how I travel on airplanes or listen to music. The other even I was with Lenn Pryor, and he had the latest in male jewelry, i.e. the iPod Shuffle. He had it hanging around his neck, and was the hit of the party.
But Lenn and I agreed that the killer part of the equation were the Etymotics.
I was just reading Gadgeteer Hands On Review : Etymotic Research 6i Isolator Earphones The reviewer totally agreed with my take. I have been mulling over buying some business cards and handing them out to iPod users suggesting that instead of coming up short, they should get the 6is.
I figure that they when I do, the people who I hand them to will think that I am a member of some cult!
Any chance you could convince them to create a bluetooth headset? I want a bluetooth headset with microphone, so I can listen to music on my computer AND take Skype calls. Or does that totally cancel the benefit of the groovy earbuds?

What I have done is to use their Ety-Com headset with a GE Audio hub. That way I have the best of their technology, one ear open, and the ability to have world class Skype calls.
The bluetooth idea is one that I hear often but because my Treo is not bluetooth enabled, I haven't spent any time investigating that kind of technology.
I will ask the Etymotic folks as to where they are on this topic.
Great people, and great products.

When I was chatting to Hobie Swan at Mindjet the other day we were talking about Buzz the Evangelist and I asked him if you'd told him about the wonders of the Etymotic yet! He said you hadn't and I warned him it was only a matter of time. :-)
Looking forward to checking them out at DEMO!
