PopTech! Saturday right after lunch

First up...

Andrew Rasiej

Campaign financing...

Great slides...tons of great stuff...

Pillars to look at,

Public Education

Free media and free speech

One person equals one vote ....have to examine the electoral college.

No Fortune 500 that can survive without a 24/7 network.

Students can't connect to their networks.

Adrian Wooldridge...from the Economist. The right nation, rise of conservative power.

Connected politics will not shift politics to the left.

Goldwater, short term defeat, long term victory.

Joe Trippi

Let me explain as to how different they, the candidates, are from us.

Raised more money than any Democrat in history, i.e. for Howard Dean.

$100 each from 5 Million Americans that will change the system. Only technology that will allow it is the net.

THQ bulletin board story...1995...

What if you could do that to strengthen a Democracy. Get local tools in the Dean campaign. Showing the add from eBay..people are good.

Q & A....

We are going to the comedians because they are telling us the truth.

Trippi...we are playing under ego centric rules.

Again..you need to be listening to this. Flowing fast...

Tripp..."It's all about the money..."

Trippi...both running top down campaigns.

Wooldridge...Big thinkers..big ideas in the Republican party.

Sculley...If so many people of Kerry's supporters are highly educated, why not better ideas?

Trippi...If Kerry looses, then massive internal fight.

Wooldrige..Both parties need to loose.

Trippi...change is not going to come from traditional media.

Trippi.. The failure to reach say Cell Phones...will be the big surprise...

Sculley...Recent tax cut...= pig piling on!

Wooldrige...The system adjusts, albeit slowly.

Trippi...they don't believe in the American people!

Trippi...story about the red bat. Different level of trust.

Again...very much worth listening to...
