ActiveWords TypePad NewsGator and MovablePoster
I have been agonizing over how in the world ActiveWords fits into the blogging world in such a way that every blogger would want to use ActiveWords when they blog.
The punch line to this little drama being that we have gotten as much lift from the blogging community as we have from a lot of the great print write-ups that we get.
After puzzling this through, and Ben's help for Matt and Gregg, I have now written a little script inside ActiveWords that looks like this:
<Goto Outlook Folder:InBox><Maximize Window><icon:o|a><ALT>s</ALT>pn
This script, takes me from anywhere on my computer, to Outlook, opens up the posting feature in NewsGator, and allows me to create a new post in my TypePad blog, i.e. http://buzzmodo.typepad.com/buzzmodo/.
Say if I wanted to go an Excel Cell to posting into my TypePad blog it takes me less than 2 seconds after I let up on the "t" on my keyboard in "post"...
Figure out how much time it takes you to do that your way...
Buzz - What is the command in your script? I don't see that in the script command list. Or is it a an Activeword you've defined?

Well that last comment didn't come out right. The question was a reference to the "icon" command in your script, but typing lt-icon-gt using the less than and greater than signs in place of lt and gt made the word "icon" vanish - must some html thingie.
